  • 7 g rapid-rise yeast
  • 🥛 0.75 cup warm milk
  • 🍞 440 g all-purpose flour
  • 🍬 50 g brown sugar
  • 🧂 8 g salt
  • 🥚 2 large eggs
  • 🎴 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 🧈 226 g butter
  • 🌰 some cinnamon
  • 🍬 226 g Lars Own Belgian Pearl Sugar

  • 🥣 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 greased cookie sheet
  • 1 greased waffle iron

📝 Instructions

Step 1

Dissolve rapid-rise yeast (1 packet) in warm milk (100°F) in a small bowl and set aside until bubbly.

Step 2

Combine the yeast mixture, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, salt, large eggs, vanilla extract, and softened butter (optionally adding cinnamon) in a large mixing bowl; mix until well blended and a soft dough forms.

Step 3

Cover and let rise until doubled in size, 30 to 60 minutes.

Step 4

Stir in Lars Own Belgian Pearl Sugar until evenly distributed.

Step 5

Divide dough into 12 equal portions (3.5 ounces each); form into patties and place on a greased cookie sheet.

Step 6

Cover and allow to rise 15 minutes.

Step 7

Bake in a preheated and greased waffle iron for 2 to 3 minutes or until deep golden brown.
