Golden Milk Oatmeal¶

Ingredients¶
2 cups plant-based milk
4 Medjool dates
0.75 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp teff
2 tsp fresh ginger
1 tsp ground turmeric
0.25 tsp ground cloves
0.25 tsp ground ginger
0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
0.13 tsp black pepper
some sliced figs
some hemp seeds

Instructions¶
Step 1¶
Combine plant-based milk and pitted
Medjool dates in a
blender and process until smooth.
Step 2¶
In a medium saucepan, toast
rolled oats and
teff over medium heat for 2 minutes.
Step 3¶
Add the blended milk mixture, grated fresh ginger,
ground turmeric,
ground cloves,
ground ginger,
ground cinnamon, and
black pepper to the saucepan and stir well with a
spatula.
Step 4¶
Bring the mixture to a low boil, stir, and cover.
Step 5¶
Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 15 minutes.
Step 6¶
Top with sliced figs and
hemp seeds, if desired.
