🧂 Ingredients

  • 🥛 2 cups plant-based milk
  • 🌰 4 Medjool dates
  • 🌾 0.75 cup rolled oats
  • 🌾 2 tbsp teff
  • 🍠 2 tsp fresh ginger
  • 🍛 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 🌰 0.25 tsp ground cloves
  • 🍠 0.25 tsp ground ginger
  • 🌰 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 🧂 0.13 tsp black pepper
  • 🍎 some sliced figs
  • 🌱 some hemp seeds

  • ⚙ blender
  • 🥘 medium saucepan
  • 🥄 spatula

📝 Instructions

Step 1

Combine 🥛 plant-based milk and pitted 🌰 Medjool dates in a ⚙ blender and process until smooth.

Step 2

In a 🥘 medium saucepan, toast 🌾 rolled oats and 🌾 teff over medium heat for 2 minutes.

Step 3

Add the blended milk mixture, grated 🍠 fresh ginger, 🍛 ground turmeric, 🌰 ground cloves, 🍠 ground ginger, 🌰 ground cinnamon, and 🧂 black pepper to the saucepan and stir well with a 🥄 spatula.

Step 4

Bring the mixture to a low boil, stir, and cover.

Step 5

Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 15 minutes.

Step 6

Top with 🍎 sliced figs and 🌱 hemp seeds, if desired.
