Chocolate Crinkles¶

Ingredients¶
0.5 cup vegetable oil
4 oz melted unsweetened chocolate
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
0.5 tsp salt
1 cup confectioners' sugar
Cookware¶
- 1 baking sheet
Instructions¶
Step 1¶
Mix vegetable oil, melted unsweetened chocolate, and granulated sugar.
Step 2¶
Blend in one egg at a time until well blended.
Step 3¶
Add vanilla.
Step 4¶
Stir all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt into oil mixture.
Step 5¶
Chill for several hours or overnight.
Step 6¶
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 7¶
Drop teaspoonfuls of dough into confectioners' sugar.
Step 8¶
Roll in sugar and shape into balls.
Step 9¶
Place about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet.
Step 10¶
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
Note
Do not overbake.
