Lemon Bars¶

Ingredients¶
0.5 cup (57 g) confectioners' sugar
1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter
2 cups (240 g) all-purpose flour
4 eggs
2 cups (396 g) granulated sugar
6 Tbsp lemon juice
0.5 tsp baking powder
Cookware¶
- 1 9 x 13 inch pan
Instructions¶
Step 1¶
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2¶
Cream confectioners' sugar and butter then stir in 2 cups all-purpose flour.
Step 3¶
Press mixture into ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan.
Step 4¶
Bake for 30 minutes.
Step 5¶
Beat eggs, granulated sugar, and lemon juice lightly.
Step 6¶
Stir in ¼ cup all-purpose flour and ½ tsp baking powder. Pour over crust.
Step 7¶
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes and let cool.
Step 8¶
Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and cut into squares.
