Classic Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

🧂 Ingredients

  • 🧈 1 cup butter
  • 🍬 3 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 🥛 1 Tbsp milk or cream
  • 🍦 1 tsp vanilla
  • 🧂 1 pinch salt

📝 Instructions

Step 1

Beat the butter at high speed for about 90 seconds or until light and glossy.

Step 2

Add half of the confectioners' sugar and beat in for about 30 seconds.

Step 3

Add the remaining sugar and beat for another 30 seconds.

Step 4

Add the milk or cream, vanilla, and salt to the frosting and beat for another 60 seconds until thick and creamy.

Step 5

The batch of frosting will cover 12 cupcakes, 24 miniature cupcakes, or an 11 X 13 inch cake.
