Firecracker Chickpea Meatballs

🧂 Ingredients

  • 🧆 400 g chickpeas
  • 🍞 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 🧅 0.5 cup red onion
  • 🧄 2 cloves garlic
  • 🍶 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 🫑 1 tsp paprika
  • 🌿 1 tsp cumin
  • 🧂 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 💧 some water
  • 🛢 1 Tbsp high-heat oil

🍳 Cookware

  • 1 food processor
  • 1 baking sheet

📝 Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Step 2

Place drained chickpeas, breadcrumbs, chopped red onion, garlic, soy sauce, paprika, cumin, and black pepper in food processor. Pulse until well mixed. Add water if needed to allow ingredients to combine.

Step 3

Roll mixture into 1.5" balls.

Step 4

Place on baking sheet and spray/drizzle with high-heat oil.

Step 5

Bake for 15 minutes, then flip; bake 10 to 15 minutes more.
