Firecracker Chickpea Meatballs

🧂 Ingredients

  • 🫘 400 g chickpeas
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 🍵 0.5 cup (105 g) red onion
  • 🧄 2 cloves garlic
  • 🥡 2 Tbsp (18 g) soy sauce
  • 🍬 1 tsp paprika
  • 🌰 1 tsp (3 g) cumin
  • 🧂 0.5 tsp (2 g) black pepper
  • 💧 some water
  • 🍼 1 Tbsp (12 g) high-heat oil

🍳 Cookware

  • ⚙ 1 food processor
  • 🍪 1 baking sheet

📝 Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Step 2

Place drained chickpeas, Breadcrumbs, chopped red onion, garlic, soy sauce, paprika, cumin, and black pepper in food processor. Pulse until well mixed. Add water if needed to allow ingredients to combine.

Step 3

Roll mixture into 1.5" balls.

Step 4

Place on baking sheet and spray/drizzle with high-heat oil.

Step 5

Bake for 15 minutes, then flip; bake 10 to 15 minutes more.
