Vegan Salisbury Steak

🧂 Ingredients

  • 🥚 1 vegan egg replacer
  • 🍎 1 lb vegan ground beef
  • 0.5 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 🥛 2 Tbsp (7 g) oat or unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 pkg onion soup mix
  • 🍎 2 tsp (9 g) vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 🧂 0.25 tsp (1 g) black pepper
  • 🍠 1 mashed potatoes
  • 1 mushroom gravy

🍳 Cookware

  • 🥣 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 large skillet

📝 Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the vegan egg replacer according to package directions. Set aside.

Step 2

Into a large mixing bowl, add vegan ground beef, seasoned breadcrumbs, egg replacer mixture, oat or unsweetened almond milk, and ½ package onion soup mix, vegan Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Use your hands to mix well, until all ingredients are fully incorporated, then form into 5 patties.

Step 3

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook until browned, 3 to 5 minutes on each side. Remove patties from skillet and set aside.

Step 4

Place on a bed of mashed potatoes and top with mushroom gravy.
