Tijuana Torte¶

Ingredients¶
1 pkg meatless ground beef
1 medium onion
1 1-lb can tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 can chopped green chili peppers
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 small can sliced black olives
1 pkg corn tortillas
1 lb Cheddar cheese
Cookware¶
- 1 9 x 13 baking dish
Instructions¶
Step 1¶
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2¶
Brown meatless ground beef and onion, add stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, chopped green chili peppers, taco seasoning and sliced black olives.
Step 3¶
Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 4¶
Place ¼ cup of meat mixture in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Place the corn tortillas side by side on the meat mixture.
Step 5¶
Top with more meat mixture and then grated Cheddar cheese.
Step 6¶
Repeat layers until all is used.
Step 7¶
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
