- 225 g dried chickpeas
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 4 cups water
- 1 pressure cooker
Rinse dried chickpeas, then drain. Place in pressure cooker. Add salt and water. Close vent and set pressure to high and cook for 42 minutes (tender with a bit of chew) or 60 minutes (tender and soft).
Allow pressure to release naturally for 20 minutes.
Drain, then serve/prepare as desired. Makes roughly 450g (1 can) cooked.
