Peanut Dipping Sauce

🧂 Ingredients

  • 🫒 2 tsp (8 g) vegetable oil
  • 🧄 4 cloves garlic
  • 🍠 1 tsp (3 g) ginger
  • 🌶 0.5 tsp (2 g) red pepper flakes
  • 💧 1 cup (227 g) water
  • 🥡 2 Tbsp (18 g) soy sauce
  • 🍊 2 Tbsp (28 g) lime juice
  • 🌰 0.67 cup (181 g) chunky peanut butter
  • 🍬 1 Tbsp (13 g) light brown sugar
  • 🌰 3 Tbsp (27 g) unsalted roasted peanuts
  • ☘ 1 Tbsp mint

  • 1 small saucepan

📝 Instructions

Step 1

Heat in a small saucepan over medium heat 2 tsps of vegetable oil.

Step 2

Add and cook, stirring, until golden brown, about 1 minute garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.

Step 3

Add and cook, stirring, until thickened, about 4 minutes water, soy sauce, lime juice, chunky peanut butter, light brown sugar, and chopped unsalted roasted peanuts.

Step 4

Remove from the heat and stir in finely chopped mint.

Step 5

Serve warm or at room temperature. The sauce will keep, covered and refrigerated, for up to 1 week.
