Hot Fudge Sauce

Ingredients
0.67 cup heavy cream
0.5 cup corn syrup
0.33 cup dark brown sugar
0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
0.25 tsp salt
6 oz bittersweet chocolate
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla

- 1 medium, heavy saucepan
Instructions
Step 1
In a medium, heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, corn syrup, dark brown sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, salt, and half of the bittersweet chocolate. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until the chocolate pieces are completely melted.
Step 2
Reduce heat and cook at a low boil, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and add in unsalted butter, vanilla, and remaining chocolate, stirring until smooth.
Step 3
Allow the sauce to cool down before serving.
