Peanut Dipping Sauce¶

| 1.75 cups | 5 minutes |
Ingredients¶
2 tsp vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp ginger
0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
1 cup water
2 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp lime juice
0.67 cup chunky peanut butter
1 Tbsp light brown sugar
3 Tbsp unsalted roasted peanuts
1 Tbsp mint
Cookware¶
- 1 small saucepan
Instructions¶
Step 1¶
Heat in a small saucepan over medium heat 2 tsps of vegetable oil.
Step 2¶
Add and cook, stirring, until golden brown, about 1 minute garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
Step 3¶
Add and cook, stirring, until thickened, about 4 minutes water, soy sauce, lime juice, chunky peanut butter, light brown sugar, and chopped unsalted roasted peanuts.
Step 4¶
Remove from the heat and stir in finely chopped mint.
Step 5¶
Serve warm or at room temperature. The sauce will keep, covered and refrigerated, for up to 1 week.
