Peanut Dipping Sauce

🧂 Ingredients

  • 🛢 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 🧄 4 cloves garlic
  • 🍠 1 tsp ginger
  • 🌶 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 💧 1 cup water
  • 🥡 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 🍋 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 🥜 0.67 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 🍁 1 Tbsp light brown sugar
  • 🥜 3 Tbsp unsalted roasted peanuts
  • 🌿 1 Tbsp mint

  • 1 small saucepan

📝 Instructions

Step 1

Heat in a small saucepan over medium heat 2 tsps of vegetable oil.

Step 2

Add and cook, stirring, until golden brown, about 1 minute garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.

Step 3

Add and cook, stirring, until thickened, about 4 minutes water, soy sauce, lime juice, chunky peanut butter, light brown sugar, and chopped unsalted roasted peanuts.

Step 4

Remove from the heat and stir in finely chopped mint.

Step 5

Serve warm or at room temperature. The sauce will keep, covered and refrigerated, for up to 1 week.
