Vinaigrette

🧂 Ingredients

  • 🧄 1 clove garlic
  • 🧂 3 pinches salt
  • 🧂 0.5 tsp salt
  • 🧂 0.13 tsp pepper
  • 🍋 0.25 cup red wine vinegar or fresh lemon juice
  • 🧄 1 tsp shallot
  • 🌭 0.5 tsp prepared mustard
  • 🫒 0.75 cup olive oil

📝 Instructions

Step 1

If garlic flavor is desired, mash to a paste garlic and 2 to 3 pinches of salt.

Step 2

Remove to a small bowl. Add salt, pepper, red wine vinegar or fresh lemon juice, minced shallot, and 1/4 to 1/2 tsp prepared mustard.

Step 3

Whisk until blended. Add gradually, whisking constantly after each addition olive oil.

Step 4

If made in advance, cover and refrigerate. Shake well before using.
