Honey Roasted Peanuts¶

Ingredients¶
1.5 Tbsp unsalted butter
1.5 Tbsp honey
0.25 tsp kosher salt
2 cups (284 g) raw unsalted peanuts
0.25 cup (50 g) white sugar
0.25 tsp chili powder
0.25 tsp garlic powder
0.25 tsp kosher salt

Instructions¶
Step 1¶
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2¶
In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter, honey, and kosher salt together.
Step 3¶
Place the raw unsalted peanuts in a large bowl and pour the butter mixture over them. Toss to coat thoroughly.
Step 4¶
Spread the peanuts in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Step 5¶
Roast for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.
Step 6¶
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the white sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, and the remaining kosher salt.
Step 7¶
Once the peanuts are done, remove them from the oven and immediately toss them in the sugar and spice mixture until well coated.
Step 8¶
Allow to cool completely before serving.
