Red Cabbage Salad

🧂 Ingredients

  • 🥬 0.5 head red cabbage
  • 🧄 2 tsp garlic puree
  • 🫑 0.25 cup grated sweet red pepper
  • 🧅 1 small red onion
  • 🍋 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 🍬 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 🧂 0.25 tsp pepper
  • 🧂 some salt
  • 🍚 1 Tbsp beef bouillon powder
  • 🍷 0.5 cup red wine vinegar
  • 🍎 0.5 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 🛢 1 cup oil

  • 1 bowl

📝 Instructions

Step 1

Shred red cabbage into bowl.

Step 2

Combine garlic puree, grated sweet red pepper and red onion.

Step 3

Blend together lemon juice, sugar, pepper, salt to taste, beef bouillon powder, red wine vinegar, and apple cider vinegar and oil.

Step 4

Pour over cabbage and mix well.

Step 5

Let stand overnight to mellow flavors.

Step 6

Makes 6-8 servings.
